Notre premiere journee a Florence / Our first day in Florence

Bonjour les amis,

Nous sommes finalement arrivés.  Tout c’est bien passé.  Florence a beaucoup de gelato et maman nous avait promis qu’on pourrait avoir beaucoup de gelato (crème glacé italienne).  La première chose que nous avons fait c’est manger du glelato pour souper.

We are finally here.  Our travels went extremely well considering the girls slept a total of a couple of hours.  We had a long nap upon our arrival and seem to be back on schedule.  Florence is beautiful.  The first thing we did once we woke up from our naps was to have gelato for lunch…the girls anyway.  The adults indulged in good Italian food and a nice bottle of wine…it feels like vacation.

Our apartment is wonderful and in a great location.  We have lots of space and it is extremely comfortable for all of us.  Here are some pictures the girls took.
